Oatmeal raisin cookies
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1 c
- raisins - 1 c
- salt optional - 1/2 tsp
- 2 sticks margarine or butter, softened - 1 c
- uncooked oats quick or old-fashioned - 3 c
How to make oatmeal raisin cookies:
Preheat oven to 350°. Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well and add to sugar mixture. Stir in oats and raisins; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown (do not overbake).
