  • butter - 1/2 c
  • coconut - 1/2 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • dark corn syrup - 3/4 c
  • pecans - 1/2 c
  • 9-inch pie shell unbaked - 1 item
  • uncooked oatmeal - 3/4 c

How to make oatmeal pecan pie:

Mix dark corn syrup, sugar, oatmeal, coconut, eggs, salt, butter and pecans together. Pour into pie shell. This is just a little change to regular Southern Pecan Pie recipes. Good enough to win a prize at the county fair.
