Oatmeal pecan cookies

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• brown sugar - 1 c
• crushed pecans - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• plain flour - 2 c
• rolled oats
• white sugar - 1 c
• Crisco shortening - 1 c

How to make oatmeal pecan cookies:

Cream sugars and shortening together. Beat in eggs. Combine oats, flour, salt, soda and baking powder. Add to sugar mixture. Add vanilla and crushed pecans. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350°. Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
