Oatmeal pecan cookies

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• soda - 1 tsp
• cup brown sugar - 1 item
• cup sugar - 1 item
• cup chopped nuts - 1 item
• 1/2 cups flour - 1 item
• cup shortening - 1 item
• Pecan halves - 1 item
• cups 3-minute oats - 3 item

How to make oatmeal pecan cookies:

Cream shortening, sugar and brown sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, soda and salt. Fold into small balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with pecan half. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
