Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- coconut - 1 c
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- pecans - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- jar Marshmallow Creme - 1/2 item
- Icing:1 stick butter
- Milnot - 1/2 c
- self-rising flour or 1 1/2 c
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Icing:1 stick butter1/2 c. cocoa1/2 c. Milnot1 tsp. vanilla1 box powdered sugar pinch of salt Melt butter. Add cocoa, sugar, eggs and flour. Beat well. Add pecans and coconut. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove and spread with Marshmallow Creme while hot.Icing: Mix butter, cocoa, Milnot, vanilla, powdered sugar and salt together. Beat hard and add optional amount of pecans and coconut. Put on cake while still warm (not hot).
