Oatmeal cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• chopped nuts - 1 c
• flour
• brown sugar - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1 c
• quick oats - 3 c

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Combine shortening and sugars. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, salt and soda. Stir into mixture. Stir in oats, nuts and Reese's pieces. Mix well. Spoon by teaspoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350°.

If these cookies are too flat, add 1/2 to 3/4 cup more flour.
