Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- soda
- shortening - 1 c
- nuts - 2 c
- molasses - 1/2 c
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- dry milk - 1/4 c
- white flour - 2 c
- oats - 4 c
- wheat flour - 2 c
- raisins or dates - 2 c
How to make oatmeal cookies:
Lightly grease non Teflon pans. Cream shortening, butter, eggs, sugar, milk, molasses, fruit and oats. Add flour, soda, spices and nuts. Press flat with palm of hand. Bake at 400° for 6 to 8 minutes.
