Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter or margarine - 3/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking soda
- sifted flour - 2 c
- raisins optional - 1/2 c
- white sugar - 2 c
- Wesson oil
- pecans, cut fine - 1/2 c
- carrots, finely grated - 3 c
- Mix together the sugar, oil and eggs
- pecans, cut fine optional - 1/2 c
How to make carrot cake:
Sift together salt, soda, cinnamon and flour. Mix together the sugar, oil and eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients. Stir in carrots and nuts. Spray with Pam or grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or make 3 layers. Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes.Icing:1Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
