  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • butter or margarine - 3/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • baking soda
  • sifted flour - 2 c
  • raisins optional - 1/2 c
  • white sugar - 2 c
  • Wesson oil
  • pecans, cut fine - 1/2 c
  • carrots, finely grated - 3 c
  • Mix together the sugar, oil and eggs
  • pecans, cut fine optional - 1/2 c

How to make carrot cake:

Sift together salt, soda, cinnamon and flour. Mix together the sugar, oil and eggs. Add sifted dry ingredients. Stir in carrots and nuts. Spray with Pam or grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or make 3 layers. Bake at 325° for 40 to 45 minutes.Icing:1
