Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1/4 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1 c
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- boiling water
- all-purpose flour
- white sugar - 1 c
- quick oats - 1 c
- Topping:1 stick margarine
How to make oatmeal cake:
Topping:1 stick margarine3/4 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk1 c. coconut1 c. chopped pecans Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Sift dry ingredients together and mix well. Add vanilla and oats last. Mix well. Bake in ungreased 8 x 12-inch Pyrex dish at 350° for 30 minutes.Topping: Melt margarine and add other ingredients, stirring well. Pour on cake when taken from oven. Brown under broiler just until it bubbles.
