  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • coconut - 2 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • boiling water
  • dark brown sugar - 1 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • oatmeal - 1 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • Milnot - 1/2 c
  • Add white sugar, dark brown sugar, flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt

How to make oatmeal cake:

Mix together oatmeal, butter and boiling water and let stand 15 to 20 minutes. Add white sugar, dark brown sugar, flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix well and pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 35 minutes at 325°.Frosting:1 stick butter, softened1/2 c. Milnot1 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. nuts2 c. coconut Mix well and spread over cake. Brown under broiler.
