Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 3 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- loaf Italian or French bread, cut into 1-inch slices - 1 item
- butter, cut into small pieces - 2 Tbsp
How to make night before french toast casserole:
Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Arrange bread in pan. Beat together eggs, milk, sugar, salt and vanilla. Pour over bread evenly. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Before baking, uncover and dot the top with butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
