- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 3 Tbsp
- dry red wine - 1/3 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- dash of white pepper - 1 item
- dash of thyme - 1 item
- mushrooms, cleaned and chopped - 1 lb
How to make mushrooms in wine:
Brown mushrooms in a saucepan in vegetable oil with salt, thyme, pepper and bay leaf. Add the wine. Cover and cook over low heat about 5 minutes. Remove bay leaf before cooking.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Vegetables, Mushroom.
