  • vegetable oil - 3 Tbsp
  • dry red wine - 1/3 c
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • dash of white pepper - 1 item
  • dash of thyme - 1 item
  • mushrooms, cleaned and chopped - 1 lb

How to make mushrooms in wine:

Brown mushrooms in a saucepan in vegetable oil with salt, thyme, pepper and bay leaf. Add the wine. Cover and cook over low heat about 5 minutes. Remove bay leaf before cooking.
