Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 3 Tbsp
- cream - 1 c
- paprika - 1 item
- chicken broth - 2 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 lb
How to make mushroom soup:
Melt butter in saucepan; saute onion about 10 minutes. Add mushrooms; cook for 1 minute. Stir in flour. Gradually add broth, milk and cream. Cook until thickened and hot. Season with salt and pepper. Top each serving with paprika.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Time to make, Soups & stews.
