Ingredients/Components
- whipped cream - 1 item
- butter, melted - 1/4 c
- fudge sauce
- chocolate wafers - 1/2 pkg
- coffee ice cream, softened - 1 gal
- almonds, diced - 1 item
How to make mud pie:
Crush wafers and add butter. Mix well. Press into a 9-inch pie plate. Cover with softened coffee ice cream. Top with cold fudge. (Tip: It helps to place fudge sauce in the freezer for awhile to make the spreading easier.) Store Mud Pie in the freezer for approximately 10 hours.Slice the Mud Pie into 8 portions and serve on chilled dessert plates. Top with whipped cream and diced almonds
