Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• cinnamon - 1 item
• butter - 1 item
• water - 2 c
• cream of tartar - 2 tsp
• lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
• Ritz crackers - 36 item
• grated rind of 1 orange
• pastry for 2 crust pie

How to make mock apple pie:

Break crackers coarsely into pastry-lined pan. Combine water, sugar and cream of tartar in pan; boil gently for 15 minutes. Add lemon juice and rind. Cool. Pour syrup over crackers. Dot with butter; sprinkle with cinnamon. Cover with top crust. Flu
