Mocha cheesecake
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter - 3/4 c
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- unsweetened cocoa powder - 1/2 c
- sifted powdered sugar - 1 c
- hot water - 1 Tbsp
- chocolate syrup - 1 item
- instant coffee crystals - 1 Tbsp
- can 1 1/4 c - 1 oz
How to make mocha cheesecake:
Crust: In large mixing bowl, stir together flour, powdered sugar, cocoa powder and baking soda. With a pastry blender or fork, cut in butter until crumbly; press flour mixture into bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.Dissolve instant coffee crystals in hot water; set aside. In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with a mixer until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk. Add coffee and eggs; beat until combined. Pour over hot baked crust. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until set. Cool on a wire rack. Cover; keep refrigerated. To serve, cut into bars and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
