Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- nuts - 1/2 c
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- Icing:1 stick oleo
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Icing:1 stick oleo pinch of salt1 tsp. vanilla3 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 box powdered sugar1/2 c. nuts Sift together flour, sugar and salt. Bring to a boil oleo, cocoa and water. Pour over flour mixture all at once and stir until mixed. Beat eggs; add buttermilk and baking soda. Stir this into mixture with vanilla. Pour onto a cookie sheet; bake at 350° for 20 minutes.While cake is baking, bring to a boil oleo, salt, vanilla, cocoa and milk. Add box of powdered sugar and nuts. Add 2 or more cups marshmallows to mixture. Spoon onto hot cake.
