Mississippi mud cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- plain flour
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- small can evaporated milk - 1 item
- stick melted butter - 1 item
- mini marshmallows
- chopped pecans optional - 1 c
- sticks melted margarine - 2 item
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Mix 2 sticks melted butter, sugar and eggs. Add 1/2 cup cocoa and mix well, then add flour and mix well. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan and bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes, until done. Pour package of mini marshmallows evenly over top. Place in oven just long enough for marshmallows to plump up slightly.Icing: Mix 1 stick melted butter, powdered sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa, evaporated milk and pecans together; pour over top of cake. Cool completely before serving.
