Mini meat loaves
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/3 c
- honey - 3 Tbsp
- sliced green onion - 1/2 c
- Dijon mustard - 1/4 c
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- wheat germ - 3/4 c
- egg white, lightly beaten - 1 item
- lean ground beef or turkey
How to make mini meat loaves:
Heat oven to 350°. For meat loaves, combine first seven ingredients in large bowl; mix lightly, but thoroughly. Shape meat mixture into eight 3 x 2-inch loaves. Place in a 7 x 11-inch baking dish. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until centers of meat loaves are no longer pink.For sauce, combine mustard and honey; mix well. Or, use a prepared honey-mustard. Serve sauce over meat loaves. Makes eight servings.
