Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 1/3 c
  • honey - 3 Tbsp
  • sliced green onion - 1/2 c
  • Dijon mustard - 1/4 c
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • wheat germ - 3/4 c
  • egg white, lightly beaten - 1 item
  • lean ground beef or turkey

How to make mini meat loaves:

Heat oven to 350°. For meat loaves, combine first seven ingredients in large bowl; mix lightly, but thoroughly. Shape meat mixture into eight 3 x 2-inch loaves. Place in a 7 x 11-inch baking dish. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until centers of meat loaves are no longer pink.

For sauce, combine mustard and honey; mix well. Or, use a prepared honey-mustard. Serve sauce over meat loaves. Makes eight servings.
