  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • milk - 1/4 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • margarine - 3 Tbsp
  • Bisquick
  • mincemeat
  • water or 1 1/2 Tbsp - 1 Tbsp
  • Mix all ingredients, except mincemeat, well

How to make mincemeat cookie bars:

Heat oven to 375°. Mix all ingredients, except mincemeat, well. Pat half of dough into 9 x 13 x 2-inch greased pan. Spread on mincemeat to within 1/2-inch of edges. Pat remaining dough to same size on wax paper. Invert over mincemeat and pull off paper. Bake for 30 minutes. If desired, glaze. Cut into squares or 2 1/4 x 1 1/2-inch bars while slightly warm.Glaze:1 c. confectioners sugar pinch of salt1/2 tsp. vanilla1 Tbsp. water or 1 1/2 Tbsp. cream (about)
