Microwave lasagna
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can mushrooms stems and pieces, drained - 1 oz
- carton creamed cottage cheese - 1 oz
How to make microwave lasagna:
Crumble ground beef in 2-quart (12 x 7-inch) glass baking dish. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap. Microwave on High for 5 minutes. Drain and stir in salt, spaghetti mix, tomato sauce and mushrooms. Mix well.Assemble in the 2-quart glass baking dish by layers: 1/3 cooked noodles, 1/3 meat mixture, 1/2 cottage cheese and 1/2 of Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers.
On the third layers of noodles, spread the last 1/3 of the meat mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover with plastic wrap.
Microwave on Roast for 15 to 18 minutes or until hot in center. Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes before serving. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
