Ingredients/Components
- salsa - 1 item
- tortilla chips - 1 item
- ground chuck - 1 lb
- Cheddar cheese - 4 oz
- head lettuce - 1 item
- avocado - 1 item
- jar Sloppy Joe sauce - 1 item
How to make mexican salad:
Shred and save 2 tablespoons cheese. Cut remaining cheese into cubes. Peel, seed and cut into slices the avocado. In a large pan, cook beef until browned. Drain fat. Add Sloppy Joe sauce and cook until hot. Chop lettuce coarsely and arrange on a plate. Top with avocado, salsa, tortilla chips, cheese cubes and cooked ground chuck. Top all with reserved shredded cheese. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Salads, Main dish, One Dish meal.
