- sour cream - 1 c
- water - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- tomato paste - 1 (6
- tomato sauce - 1 (8
- taco seasoning mix - 1 pkg
- 6-inch flour tortillas - 4 item
- broken corn chips - 2 c
- slices Cojack cheese - 4 item
How to make mexican casserole:
Brown ground beef. Add green peppers and onion. Mix in taco seasoning, sauce and paste, water and chili powder over medium heat. Blend sour cream, eggs and pepper in small bowl. Place 1/2 of tortillas on bottom of 9 x 13-inch dish. Top with 1/2 the meat mix. Place 2 slices of cheese on top. Repeat. Sprinkle with corn chips.
