Mexican casserole
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/2 c
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- diced green pepper - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- Minute rice uncooked - 1 c
- cans corn - 2 item
How to make mexican casserole:
Brown beef, onion and green pepper in skillet; drain. Add spices, corn, tomato sauce, tomato paste and water. Cover; bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Add rice. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir, then add shredded cheese. Turn off; heat and cover for 5 minutes.Recipe categories: Casseroles, North american, Mexican.
