Mexicali chicken
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- sour cream - 3 c
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- tortilla chips - 1 pkg
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1/4 lb
- Jack cheese, grated - 1/4 lb
- green onion tops - 6 item
- avocado - 1 item
- chicken breast halves, cooked - 4 item
- can Ortega chilies, mashed - 1 item
- taco sauce red or green - 1 item
How to make mexicali chicken:
Bone chicken and break into pieces. Mix all ingredients except chips and cheeses together. Place tortilla chips in bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Pour chicken mixture over chips. Place grated cheese over layers. Bake at 350° for about thirty minutes. Serve with chopped or mashed avocado over each serving and add red or green taco sauce.
