Ingredients/Components
- ground beef
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chopped green chilies - 1 (4
- can enchilada sauce - 1 item
- milk - 3/4 c
- soft tortillas - 1 pkg
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1/2 lb
- Monterey Jack cheese, grated - 1/2 lb
- sour cream - 1 pt
How to make enchilada pie:
Brown meat and onion. Season with salt and pepper. Drain. Add soups (undiluted), green chilies, enchilada sauce and milk. Line a 13 x 9-inch pan with 6 tortillas. Top with half meat mixture and half the cheeses. Repeat layers. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Cool slightly and cut in squares to serve. Top each square with a dab of sour cream.
