Mashed potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- sour cream - 16 oz
- paprika - 1 item
- garlic salt - 2 tsp
- potatoes, peeled and cooked - 5 lb
How to make mashed potato casserole:
Peel, cook and mash all potatoes. Beat in with electric mixer, sour cream and cream cheese. Add garlic powder and taste for salt and pepper.Put in a large ovenproof casserole. Sprinkle with paprika and dot with butter. This can be baked now at 350° until golden on top or frozen.
If frozen, baking time will increase. Dot with butter about 20 minutes before serving, if starting to bake frozen.
