Margarita shrimp
Ingredients/Components
- corn oil - 5 Tbsp
- minced onion - 1/2 c
- fresh lime juice - 2 Tbsp
- tequila - 1/4 c
- lime wedges - 1 item
- large minced garlic cloves - 2 item
- uncooked peeled shrimp - 1 lb
- margarita salt - 1/2 tsp
How to make margarita shrimp:
Heat oil in large heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, onion and garlic and saute until shrimp turns pink (about 1 minute). Remove from heat and add tequila; return to heat and bring to a boil, scraping up any browned bits. Transfer to medium bowl and cool. Toss shrimp with lime juice and salt.
