Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 3 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • eggs, beaten - 6 item
  • dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
  • shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
  • can mushrooms, drained - 1 item
  • Miracle Whip - 1 c
  • fresh bread crumbs - 10 c
  • bulk pork sausage - 1 lb
  • dry basil leaves - 2 tsp

How to make make ahead breakfast casserole:

Preheat oven to 375°. Brown sausage; drain. Add bread cubes, broccoli, mushrooms and cheese. Mix lightly. Spoon into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish or 2-quart casserole. Pour combined eggs, milk, dressing, flour and seasonings over bread mixture. Cover and refrigerate one hour or overnight. Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour. Makes 8 servings.
