- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, beaten - 6 item
- dry mustard - 1 Tbsp
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- can mushrooms, drained - 1 item
- Miracle Whip - 1 c
- fresh bread crumbs - 10 c
- bulk pork sausage - 1 lb
- dry basil leaves - 2 tsp
How to make make ahead breakfast casserole:
Preheat oven to 375°. Brown sausage; drain. Add bread cubes, broccoli, mushrooms and cheese. Mix lightly. Spoon into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish or 2-quart casserole. Pour combined eggs, milk, dressing, flour and seasonings over bread mixture. Cover and refrigerate one hour or overnight. Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour.
