Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- shredded coconut - 1 c
- egg whites - 2 item
- cornflakes - 2 c
- nutmeats, chopped fine - 1/2 c
How to make macaroons:
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar, nuts, coconut, vanilla and flour. Beat gently after each addition only for a few seconds. Mix in cornflakes, gently folding by hand. Let stand for 5 minutes. Drop by small tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300° for 15 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Coconut.
