Macaroni salad
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 8 oz
- red wine vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- diced celery - 1 c
- peeled, diced tomatoes - 1 can
- mayonnaise - 3/4 c
- mustard - 1 Tbsp
- sugar - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- green sweet peas, cooked optional - 1 c
- chopped green pepper optional - 1 c
How to make macaroni salad:
In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt and pepper. Mix well. Add elbow macaroni, celery, tomatoes, onions, pepper and peas. Toss to coat well. Cover and chill. Makes 5 cups.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Elbow macaroni.
