Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- butter
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 2
- Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- macaroni - 2 3
- sharp Cheddar cheese - 12 oz
- fried onions
How to make macaroni and cheese:
Cheese Sauce:2 Tbsp. butter1 tsp. dry mustard1 to 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce2 c. milk12 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese salt and pepper to taste Make macaroni according to package directions.Sauce: Melt butter in medium saucepan. Slowly add flour to make a paste. Gradually stir in milk, stirring constantly. Add dry mustard and stir. Add Worcestershire sauce and stir. Grate Cheddar and add gradually; stir. Add Parmesan cheese and stir. Add to cooked macaroni. Put in a casserole dish.
Top with either bread crumbs or dry fried onion pieces. Bake at 350° about 10 minutes or until bread crumbs or onions turn brown.
