Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- butter or margarine, melted - 2 Tbsp
- 8 oz - 2 c
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- soft bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- egg, lightly beaten - 1 item
- small curd cottage cheese - 2 c
How to make macaroni and cheese:
Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Combine macaroni, egg and next 5 ingredients; stir well. Spoon mixture into a greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Combine bread crumbs and butter, stirring well. Sprinkle over macaroni. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Yields 6 servings.Recipe categories: Cheese, Pasta, Elbow macaroni.
