Ingredients/Components

- salt and pepper - 1 item
- box macaroni shells - 1 item
- block sharp Cheddar, shredded - 1 item
- block Monterey Jack, shredded - 1 item
- block Muenster, shredded - 1 item
- for white sauce - 1 stick
How to make macaroni and cheese:
Cook shells partially for 7 to 8 minutes.Make White Sauce: Melt butter over low heat, gradually adding butter while stirring with wire whisk. Add milk until it starts to thicken.
Butter a large shallow casserole. Put in half of pasta. Cover with 1/2 of shredded cheese; dot with butter, salt and pepper. Pour 1/2 of white sauce over mixture. Repeat layer: pasta, cheese, sauce, butter and salt and pepper. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Serves a crowd.
