Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- cubed Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- uncooked macaroni - 1 c
How to make macaroni and cheese:
Cook the macaroni according to package directions. While this is cooking, melt the butter; blend in flour, salt and pepper. Stir well; do not brown. Add milk. Stir constantly until it begins to thicken. Remove from heat. Add cheese and stir until cheese begins to melt. Mix drained macaroni and cheese sauce together. Pour in buttered casserole dish.
