Low-fat banana bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- baking powder
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- cooking oil - 1/4 c
- mashed banana - 1 c
- nonstick spray coating - 1 item
- slightly beaten egg whites - 2 item
How to make low-fat banana bread:
In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. In a large bowl, stir together egg whites, banana, sugar and oil. Stir flour mixture into banana mixture just until moistened.Spray an 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan with nonstick spray. Spread batter. Bake in a 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool bread in the pan for 10 minutes.
