Low-fat banana bread
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- egg whites - 2 item
- white sugar - 1 c
- vegetable cooking spray - 1 item
- non-fat vanilla yogurt - 1/2 c
- ripe mashed banana - 3/4 c
How to make low-fat banana bread:
Sift together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. Add all remaining ingredients and beat until well blended. Coat 8 x 4-inch loaf pan with cooking spray. Pour mixture into loaf pan. Bake at 350° for about one hour or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean. Yields 12 slices.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Bananas.
