Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • flour - 4 tsp
  • grated cheese - 1 item
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • basil - 1/2 tsp
  • olive oil - 1/4 c
  • bottle clam juice - 1 item
  • chopped parsley - 3 Tbsp
  • garlic cloves, minced - 2 item
  • white wine - 1/4 c
  • medium onion, chopped - 1 item
  • red pepper flakes - 1/8 tsp
  • linguini - 1 lb
  • cans minced clams, drain and reserve juice - 3 oz

How to make linguini and clam sauce:

In medium saucepan, heat oil. Add onion and garlic and saute for 2 minutes. Stir in flour. Add both clam juices, wine, oregano, red pepper flakes, basil and salt. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Add clams and parsley. Return to a boil and remove from heat. Cook pasta. Pour clam sauce over linguini mix. Can sprinkle grated cheese on top.
