Linguini and clam sauce
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- flour - 4 tsp
- grated cheese - 1 item
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- basil - 1/2 tsp
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- bottle clam juice - 1 item
- chopped parsley - 3 Tbsp
- garlic cloves, minced - 2 item
- white wine - 1/4 c
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- red pepper flakes - 1/8 tsp
- linguini - 1 lb
- cans minced clams, drain and reserve juice - 3 oz
How to make linguini and clam sauce:
In medium saucepan, heat oil. Add onion and garlic and saute for 2 minutes. Stir in flour. Add both clam juices, wine, oregano, red pepper flakes, basil and salt. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Add clams and parsley. Return to a boil and remove from heat. Cook pasta. Pour clam sauce over linguini mix.
