Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- egg yolks - 2 item
- egg whites - 2 item
- white sugar - 1 c
- lemon - 1 item
- butter size of walnut - 1 item
How to make lemon sponge pie:
Cream together sugar, flour and softened butter until smooth. Add 2 slightly beaten egg yolks, juice of lemon and milk. Fold in beaten thick egg whites and then pour into pie shell. Bake at 450° for 8 minutes and at 325° for 20 to 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
