- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- flour - 3 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- lemon flavoring - 2 tsp
How to make lemon pound cake:
Cream shortening, butter or margarine and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well until lemon colored. Combine flour, baking powder and milk. Add flavoring. Beat well. Bake in a tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Weeknight.
