Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- flour - 1/3 c
- butter - 1 tsp
- egg yolks - 3 item
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- boiling water
- baked pie shell - 1 item
- juice and grated rind of 1 to 2 lemons
How to make lemon pie:
Mix sugar, salt, egg yolks, butter, water and flour. Cook until thick. Add lemon juice and rind. Pour into pie shell and top with meringue. Bake at 400° until lightly brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
