  • sugar
  • flour - 1/3 c
  • butter - 1 tsp
  • egg yolks - 3 item
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • boiling water
  • baked pie shell - 1 item
  • juice and grated rind of 1 to 2 lemons

How to make lemon pie:

Mix sugar, salt, egg yolks, butter, water and flour. Cook until thick. Add lemon juice and rind. Pour into pie shell and top with meringue. Bake at 400° until lightly brown.
