  • milk
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 4 Tbsp
  • stick margarine - 2/3 item
  • egg yolks - 5 item
  • lemon juice - 1/2 c
  • lemon rind - 2 tsp
  • Meringue:5 egg whites
  • deep dish pie shells, slightly baked - 2 item

How to make lemon pie:

Filling:2 c. sugar4 Tbsp. flour2/3 stick margarine5 egg yolks2 1/2 c. milk2 tsp. lemon rind1/2 c. lemon juice Meringue:5 egg whites2/3 c. sugar1/4 tsp. salt Mix filling together in saucepan and cook until thick. Pour into pie shells. Top with meringue and bake at 400° for about 7 minutes or until top has browned to golden.
