Lemon cream squares
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 2 oz
- chopped nuts optional - 1/4 c
- egg, separated - 1 item
- crescent dinner rolls - 2 pkg
- confectioner sugar - 1 item
- lemon juice or to taste
How to make lemon cream squares:
Line baking dish (approximately 9 x 12-inch) with 1 package of rolls. Mix the next 5 ingredients; spread on crescent rolls. Top with 1 package of rolls. Beat egg white and spread over top. Sprinkle on nuts. Bake at 350° for approximately 35 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle top with confectioners sugar.
