Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/3 c
- cream cheese - 1 lb
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- egg yolks - 5 item
- margarine - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
- grated lemon rind - 1 item
- cake flour - 1/4 c
- graham crackers
- Save some for top
- half and half sour cream - 1 c
How to make lemon cheesecake:
Mix together and pat in 9-inch spring-form pan. Save some for top. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.Filling:5 eggs whites1/4 c. sugar1 lb. cream cheese5 egg yolks2/3 c. sugar3 Tbsp. lemon juice grated lemon rind1/4 c. cake flour1 tsp. vanilla1 c. half and half sour cream Beat egg whites to form stiff peaks. Beat in 1/4 cup sugar. Cream the cream cheese and beat in egg yolks (one at a time). Beat in 2/3 cup sugar, lemon juice, rind, cake flour, vanilla and sour cream. Beat well after adding each ingredient. Then carefully fold in egg whites. Sprinkle on remaining crumbs. Cook 1 1/4 hours at 325°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Egg.
