Layered vegetable salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- tomatoes, chopped - 1 item
- bacon bits - 1 item
- bell pepper - 1 item
- lettuce - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 item
- cucumber, thinly sliced - 1 item
- celery optional - 1 item
- radishes optional - 1 item
- onion red if desired - 1 item
How to make layered vegetable salad:
Salad Dressing:1 pt. Hellmann's mayonnaise1/2 c. sugar Mix dressing together; pour over vegetables.Layer vegetables in order given (lettuce, bell pepper, celery, onion and lettuce). At this point, cover with salad dressing. Cover with Saran Wrap and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. Just before serving, layer the following: cucumber, tomatoes, radishes and bacon bits and cover with grated Cheddar cheese.
