Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- low-fat cottage cheese - 3 c
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- parsley flakes - 2 Tbsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- basil - 2 tsp
- onion, chopped - 3/4 c
- tomato paste
- Mozzarella cheese - 3/4 lb
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- clove garlic, crushed - 1 item
- lasagne noodles - 8 oz
How to make lasagne:
Brown the ground beef, onion and garlic. Drain grease. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano and salt. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°. Cook lasagne noodles. Mix parsley flakes, eggs, cottage cheese and Mozzarella cheese together. In a 9 x 13-inch baking pan, layer noodles, meat and cheese mixture. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
