Ingredients/Components
- ground beef, browned - 1 lb
- cans tomatoes - 2 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- can tomato paste - 1 item
- bay leaves remove from sauce before serving - 2 item
- oregano - 1 tsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- container Ricotta cheese - 1 (12
- Mozzarella cheese - 3 c
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- lasagna noodles - 12 item
How to make lasagna:
Sauce: Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, bay leaves, oregeno, salt and pepper to ground beef. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Add Parmesan cheese to sauce and simmer.Boil noodles. Add egg to Ricotta cheese; mix well. In lasagna pan, add 1 layer of sauce, then 1 layer of noodles. For second and third layers, use sauce, Ricotta cheese and Mozzarella cheese. Top layer is sauce and Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 325° for 30 minutes, covered and 15 minutes, uncovered. Let stand 15 minutes and serve.
