Ingredients/Components
- beaten eggs - 2 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- Ricotta cheese - 1 c
- small can tomato paste - 1 item
- ground chuck - 1 lb
- Add remaining ingredients
- sprinkle of garlic powder - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced - 16 oz
- cream-style cottage cheese - 1 c
- can Italian style tomato sauce - 2 1/2
- large can whole peeled tomatoes - 1 item
- spicy spaghetti sauce mix - 1 pkg
How to make lasagna:
Brown ground chuck until cooked; drain fat. Add remaining ingredients. Be sure to break up the whole tomatoes. Cook on low, stirring often and adding water when needed (to keep from sticking). Cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.Casserole:10 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained2 beaten eggs1 c. cream-style cottage cheese1 c. Ricotta cheese1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese16 oz. Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Combine eggs, cottage cheese, Ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese and pepper to taste. Mix well. Grease 13 x 9-inch pan. Arrange noodles on bottom of pan. Spread with 1/2 of cheese filling; add 1/2 of the Mozzarella cheese and 1/2 of the meat mixture. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with noodles and then meat sauce. Bake uncovered at 375° for about 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Ground beef, Beef, Lasagna.
