Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- cottage cheese - 1 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese - 3/4 lb
- lasagna noodles - 1/2 lb
- olive or regular oil - 2 Tbsp
- Lipton Onion Soup mix - 1 pkg
How to make lasagna:
In hot oil, brown garlic and ground beef. Stir in soup mix, water, tomato paste, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, sugar and oregano. Cover and cook 30 minutes. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.In a 12 x 8 x 2 pan, place 2 tablespoons meat mixture. Over meat, arrange single layer of noodles, cottage cheese, mozzarella, meat mixture and Parmesan. Repeat each layer, ending with meat and Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
