Lace cookies

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1 tsp
• flour - 3 Tbsp
• egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
• melted butter - 1 c
• oatmeal
• light brown sugar

How to make lace cookies:

Mix dry ingredients. Stir in butter, egg and vanilla. Blend and drop by 1/2 teaspoon at least 2-inches apart on heavy foil on cookie sheet. Bake at 375° until lightly brown (7 minutes). Cool, then remove. Store with wax paper between layers. Makes 8 dozen.
